Outer shells were used for two years, inserts are only toddler, no newborn inserts included.
The toddler inserts were used for under one year as they were replaced with new toddler inserts when the old toddler ones wore out.
This is less than half the price of if you bought them new and is great if you're on the fence about cloth or disposable diapers.
Inserts have some stains but the shells are stain free.
